HeArts- around the world is an educational project, based on non-formal teaching. Its main target is the 5-7 grade students. Through this project the OC tries to implement a change in society that it will be seen in years when the children will be grown ups and will need a creative system through which to manage and relate to situations and relationships.
Why do we think that arts will eventually save us? We don’t but we hope, because hope has no visible costs. Through arts we are only trying to prepare children to step into life with a taste for beauty.
This year, the project’s target we want to reach is 120 participants from 6 partner schools. The project will be held for 6 weeks- 11 mars- 28 april, time in which heArt’s OC promise to provide two workshops per week in each of the partner schools. The workshops will be held by international trainers (Spain, Mexico, Singapore and Brazil) on different arts such as music, dance, photography and drawing. Our main objectives are to develop the children’s artistic aptitudes, their communicational abilities in an intercultural context, and to improve their English speaking.
